The Omicron Gamma Gamma of Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Inc was founded on March 10, 1986 in the mid cities area of Dallas/Fort Worth. OGG  began as a small graduate chapter and has since grown into the second largest graduate chapter in the Dallas/Fort Worth metropolitan area. Omicron Gamma Gamma has been recognized as the 2005 Ninth District Social Action Chapter of The Year, the 2006, 2007, and 2009 "Ninth District Chapter of the Year". In 2007-08 the chapter was recognized with its highest honor to date when OGG was awarded the 2008 "International Chapter of The Year" for Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Inc. A further purpose for which the Omicron Gamma Gamma Chapter was built  is to be a supportive and encouraging force for local, existing graduate and undergraduate chapters of the fraternity.
